Graphic Designer


Phoenix Labs is looking for an experienced Graphic Designer to join our Creative Services team, providing our Publishing department with web design and marketing imagery. The successful candidate must have strong initiative, a sharp artistic eye, and be highly organized.

Applicants must live within commuting distance to our Vancouver, BC studio. Due to the information security concerns, complexity of the daily work, and other factors such as speed and volume of data transfer, this job is unsuitable for remote employees. This is a full-time, permanent position.   • Collaborate with our web developer and publishing team to design new webpages for
  • Develop effective ads across multiple formats and platforms (eg. web, console)
  • Organize, prepare, and resize imagery for all our digital marketing channels, such as blogs, social, email, and digital storefronts
  • Use photomanipulation and layout skills to create enticing in-game store art panels
  • Design seasonal logos for Dauntless’ hunt passes
  • Capture promotional screenshots using Unreal Engine


  • Love of video games and geek culture
  • 5+ years professional experience in graphic design
  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe Photoshop
  • Knowledge of current web standards and best practices
  • A keen eye for colour & composition
  • Strong organizational skills; ability to adhere to and create naming conventions, as well as archive numerous image variants
  • Strong time management skills; ability to deal effectively with multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
  • Proactive work ethic; willing to chase down feedback and approvals
  • Strong interpersonal skills; capable of communicating and collaborating with multiple colleagues and stakeholders


  • Post-secondary training in graphic design
  • Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator
  • Game development experience
  • Perforce experience
  • Unreal Engine experience
