Senior Marketing Manager

Phoenix Labs is looking for a values-driven and player-centric Mobile Marketing Manager to support our North American marketing efforts for Free Fire, Garena’s battle royale mobile game with over 725M players globally. This role will have an integral part in driving continued growth for one of the most downloaded mobile games, contributing to all aspects of Free Fire’s North America business strategy and marketing execution. The ideal candidate has experience in the mobile market and is deeply familiar with online game development and understands how games are made. Adept communication skills, creativity, and project management experience are a must.

In January 2020, Phoenix Labs officially joined forces with Garena, a digital entertainment company and one of the largest forces for gaming in Southeast Asia. They were one of our earliest investors, and share our vision for connecting gamers worldwide. Together, we are investing deeply into our development capabilities and exploring additional regions, platforms, and games.

Responsibilities

  • Create and execute marketing plans and integrated campaigns, including digital, social, influencer, PR, etc. 
  • Support campaigns from end to end including creative, targeting, segmentation, execution, reporting, and optimization.
  • Coordinate plans and execution with the larger marketing team, agencies, production companies and other related internal and external stakeholders.
  • Monitor feedback and performance for all campaign related activations and provide thorough reporting and optimization plans.
  • Oversee end to end asset development (both image and video) on a variety of platforms.
  • Collaborate with regional leadership to ensure all content aligns to global direction and local nuance. 
  • Manage and map out production timelines on all asset management.
  • Work alongside developers and creatives, visually communicating projects’ goals.
  • Participate in research studies to gain better understanding of local players and other local market best practices
  • Coordinate plans and communications with the larger marketing organization and global teams. 

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in mobile marketing and asset creation and management.
  • Thorough understanding of the North American market, including the Hispanic and Latino markets. 
  • Able to handle multiple tasks in an organized manner and deliver under pressure.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including conflict resolution.
  • Excels at developing creative campaigns and assets.
  • Analytical skills and comfort managing and navigating data sets.
  • Capable of collaborating with remote teams across time zones. 
  • Competitive knowledge of shooter and battle royale space. 

Preferred

  • Bilingual in Spanish.
  • Familiar with mobile marketing and storefronts. 
  • Proficient with basic Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop.
  • Experience in working with marketing agencies and production companies.
  • Passion for games and the gaming industry.
  • Experience working in an agile setting.
